The 90/10 Principle. Please read when you're free. This is true and can apply to us ....
Have you read this before? Discover the 90/10 Principle. It will change your/our life (at least the way you react to situations).

What is this principle? 10% of life is made up of what happens to you. 90% of life is decided by how you react. What does this mean? We really have no control over 10% of what happens to us.

We cannot stop the car from breaking down. The plane will be late arriving, which throws our whole schedule off. A driver may cut us off in traffic. We have no control over this 10%. The other 90% is different. You determine the other 90%.

How? By your reaction. You cannot control a red light, but you can control your reaction.
Don't let people fool you; YOU can control how you react.

Let's use an example. You are eating breakfast with your family. Your daughter knocks over a cup of coffee onto your business shirt. You have no control over what just what happened. What happens when the next will be determined by how you react.

You curse. You harshly scold your daughter for knocking the cup over. She breaks down in tears. After scolding her, you turn to your spouse and criticize her for placing the cup too close to the edge of the table. A short verbal battle follows.

You storm upstairs and change your shirt. Back downstairs, you find your daughter has been too busy crying to finish breakfast and get ready for school. She misses the bus. Your spouse must leave immediately for work. You rush to the car and drive your daughter to school.

Because you are late, you drive 40 miles an hour in a 30 mph speed limit. After a 15-minute delay and throwing $60 traffic fine away, you arrive at school. Your daughter runs into the building without saying goodbye.

After arriving at the office 20 minutes late, you find you forgot your briefcase. Your day has started terrible. As it continues, it seems to get worse and worse.

You look forward to coming home. When you arrive home, you find small wedge in your relationship with your spouse and daughter. Why? Because of how you reacted in the morning.

Why did you have a bad day?

A) Did the coffee cause it?

B) Did your daughter cause it?

C) Did the policeman cause it?

D) Did you cause it?

The answer is D.

You had no control over what happened with the coffee. How you reacted in those 5 seconds is what caused your bad day.

Here is what could have and should have happened.

Coffee splashes over you. Your daughter is about to cry. You gently say, "It's ok honey, you just need to be more careful next time". Grabbing a towel you rush upstairs. After grabbing a new shirt and your briefcase, you come back down in time to look through the window and see your child getting on the bus. She turns and waves.

You arrive 5 minutes early and cheerfully greet the staff. Your boss comments on how good the day you are having.

Notice the difference?

Two different scenarios. Both started the same. Both ended different. Why?

Because of how you REACTED. You really do not have any control over 10% of what happens. The other 90% was determined by your reaction. Here are some ways to apply the 90/10 principle.

If someone says something negative about you, don't be a sponge! Let the attack roll off like water on glass. You don't have to let the negative comment affect you! React properly and it will not ruin your day. A wrong reaction could result in losing a friend, being fired, getting stressed out etc.

How do you react if someone cuts you off in traffic? Do you lose your temper? Pound on the steering wheel? A friend of mine had the steering wheel fall off) Do you curse? Does your blood pressure skyrocket? Do you try and bump them? WHO CARES if you arrive ten seconds later at work? Why let the cars ruin your drive?

Remember the 90/10 principle, and do not worry about it. You are told you lost your job. Why lose sleep and get irritated? It will work out. Use your worrying energy and time into finding another job.

The plane is late; it is going to mangle your schedule for the day. Why take out your frustration on the flight attendant? She has no control over what is going on. Use your time to study, get to know the other passenger. Why get stressed out? It will just make things worse.

Now you know the 90/10 principle. Apply it and you will be amazed at the results. You will lose nothing if you try it.

The 90/10 principle is incredible. Very few know and apply this principle.

The result?

Millions of people are suffering from undeserved stress, trials, problems and heartache.

There never seem to be a success in life.

Bad days follow bad days.

Terrible things seem to be constantly happening.

There is constant stress, lack of joy, and broken relationships.

Worry consumes time.

Anger breaks friendships and life seems dreary and is not enjoyed to the fullest.

Friends are lost.

Life is a bore and often seems cruel.

Rather than trying to get things perfect, see that they already are.

This moment is as it is, and it's a perfect opportunity to fully live.

Though the details may not be precisely to your liking, you can still work with whatever you have.

And whatever you have is always enough.

There is always something in this moment that will get you to the next.

And in the next moment there will always be something that will carry you to the one after that.

Look back and see that it always has been.

Though things have often seemed not to be perfect, you've certainly made it this far.

Moment by moment, day by day, you're alive and experiencing it all.

The more thankful you are for what already is, the more you'll be empowered to create what you want.

This moment is perfectly suited for you. Accept it and go where you will.

Mann What A Great Day!

Woohoooo! Mannn.....what a great day today! After i woke up today, i was preparing the cloth for my presentation. wohooo....too smart man! everybody said "wahh...lawa baju!", "nak pinjam utk my presentation..." man.....of course the shirt is smart because its expensive! ;) then i go to my presentation. Presentation about corporate advertisement and product advertisement. i already prepare my presentation. i do about Nike "Test Your Faith Daily" as corporate advs and "Nike Woman Courage Product" as product advs. man... i was nervous while waiting my turn.

Then suddenly I realise why should I present other company? Why not I present my company, my part of life? Because I am Omegatrend and Omegatrend is ME! Im proud of being part of this great organization! Then I remember Theme for August 2003 Quarter callled "CHOICES". We have vclip for this theme song....then I refresh back my memory about it. Then when Im ready, I volounteer to present early. 1st I present the NikeWoman product as my product advs then for corp advs I proceed with CHOICES from Omegatrend.

Men, i was nervous when it come to public speaking but this is better than 2 yrs before because i really dont know how to present. But this quite ok...just need to improve more! The main things that I want to achieve by changing the topic to "CHOICES" 1stly because I want to conquer my fear of doing what i think its right for me and may not for other, or think what people will think as result of what i do. so i said to myself, now its time to test and conquer my FEAR! Lets the courage and brave, confident built in myself again and again!
What i do is, reach them with simple presentation, not many elaboration but with some of my magics words that is "This theme or corp advs tend to relate people outside there or remind them that "WE HAVE CHOICES IN LIFE EVERYDAY EVERY SECOND TO MAKE IT A BETTER LIFE, A BETTER DAY! WE DESERVE WHAT THE BEST WORLD HAS TO OFFER! WHY MUST WE LETS OTHER PEOPLE RUN AND CONTROL OUR LIFE WHILE WE CAN LIVE OUR LIFE TO THE BEST AND FULL PONTENTIAL! WE DESERVER IT!" then i finish with, this what the company want to show people how much they care about millions of people who can choose what they want to do in their life without been controlled by others! Yeah!

I feels great mannn!

Then suddenly when i came back to room, one person PM me..... and ask what is my last month income. I said "man...why should i tell u? you wont believe me if i tell u the truth. U probably will said, I lie to u or do "wayang" to attract u." I add " even if u ask lecturer or the 'pakgad' they also wont tell u how much they earn from their income last mth! For me this is privacy!" he said "ahh sure ur company is bad" i said "man....look, u pm me and now u want to condemm me? what wrongs with u?....as long as im happy, i got car, pay my study on my on and travelling atleast sydney every yr...its ok for me..... i dont really think money is everything!" then he said " ah i got more from my L***R business!" then i said" hey....dont waste my time by comparing money or company with me" and he said " go to hell and collapse with ur business!" ;)
then i think at that moment "hey i want to live up a day of +ve, why must i bother with this guy or entertain his stupid argue with me?" so i just reply back to him " May ALLAH Bless your business and gud luck!" then he didnt reply back. ohh man..... what i day that i can choose today.....if i argue with that "kid" for sure its goin to be a bad day for me.....but because its a choices that i can make to have what kind of day and live today..... i choose to be +ve day.

You see, we control our life......every decision we make can result good or bad....why we decide -ve while we can have +ve? Always remember this quote "Always based ur decision on knowledge and never on ignorance, whatever u decide after that is fine!" Insya allah u will have better day and life day to day!

One more......never look or tend to make money so much that i called "working for money" because u will be slave of money one day!

Lets Make Money workhard for us! To be Financially FREE we need money working hard for us! The most important things is, is your mind and urself grow? Maybe u got a lot of money today but if urself didnt grow, next time u wont get it! SUCCESS is perishable! Today u can be success but if u didnt improving the right attide, in the future may god bless u to maintain the success or else you'll go down. But the best thing is, in this organization, we learn about leadership. "Leadership: Our Greatest Glory Is Not Never Falling.....But In Raising Up After Every Fall".

Confident is 100%, Never have Confident in 98% or less

When I was young, Im a doubtful person, -ve thinking but from time to time, as time goes, I keep improving myself!

For me, everything that I have to do to achieve my goal, there is no doubt or believe only 98%. Because 98% is doubt and not what we call believe. Believe is 100%! So I believe is this organization that can take me to the rest of the world to impact millions of life to have better life! Insya Allah.

In this organization, I can learn and grow by doing not only by reading or what people call (theory). We practice day to day to be a better person that we suppose to be! Not backward; where everyday become worst than yesterday. Last year worst than 5 year before. This is life changing opportunity where we will discover a lot of best things that life has to offer us!

Along the journey to achieve my dreams, a really enjoy making thru friends! Friends for Life!

Secondly, this is the journey to take charge and control of our life!

My friends, if we didnt control or run our life, believe me, other people will run the show of your life! At that point of time, you still have a chance to change it, but why must you wait till that time? Why not change ur life today, take charge and run your own life!

For me, there is nothing best than be an ordinary people and claim "ah dah rezeki aku mcm nie nak buat mcm mana....."

Why not we take an opportunity and do it to change our life!

We always pray 5 time a day and ask help from Allah "Ya allah ya tuhanku, murahkan rezeki hambamu ya allah" but Allah will never give from sky to our "sejadah". HE give thru opportunity that come accros with our life!. But when opportunity knock our door and we said "ah this not for me" How Allah going to give to us next time when we always reject his giving?

There is nothing to loose and everything to gain! Life is a gift. We live once! Why not...why not give the best to live life full pontential. Be extraordinary. Be a dreamers! Be the 5% of world population that making dreams come true rather be the mess that always complain never had enough in their life and complaining everything even god! We deserve the best life has to offer!

I view my life as a gift! WHY NOT we live life to the best and fullest? Life just once! Let’s live up our dreams to come true!

"Success is going from failure to failure without loss of enthusiasm!", so don't fear when you want to do things that you need to do in life.

Everyday I always ask this question to myself, "whatever that I have to do, do I have to do it, in order to achieve my goals? And if the answer is yes, I have to do it!" Because it's worth doing whatever it takes, including going thru 'noes', to make your dreams come true! If u are unwilling to change, you have already reached your maximum potential!

I thrive on conquering the impossible. If you tell me it can't be done, I'll find a way to do it. I believe in taking charge of my destiny so I set very high goals and I don't stop until I achieve them. I'm happiest when I inspire others to be all they can be. I love life and I'm not afraid to take risks to try new things. I have a burning desire to use my life to do something powerful and meaningful.

Success, for me, is an evolving matter. Success is my willingness to continue tackling challenges and taking advantage of opportunities while continuing to stretch myself beyond what feels comfortable in an effort to grow both professionally and personally. I've been unafraid to pursue dreams and take risks that other people wouldn't have taken.

I also constantly re-invent myself to be better person, and great leader in the world one day! One should always know when to re-create themselves, to always be able to make it happen and at the end of the day...I knew that one day I’ll make more than billion dollars and help other make billion too. Its just matter of time and it’s around the corner to achieve it!
